Day 01: Bangkok/ Market of train / Floating market / Amphawa
Pick up at hotel in Bangkok. We will move drive 80 kilometers south of Bangkok, to Samutsongkram. This city offers visitors the chance to admire the typical life of the Thai countryside. We begin the day with a stop at a local station to see the train pass in front of an amazing market that has emerged up along the railroad tracks, the popular market on the railway Mae Klong. In this market, we will witness the skill and speed of sellers to quickly pack their positions when trains are approaching. A unique experience! We continue to visit the largest and most colorful market of Thailand, Floating Market Damnoen Saduak, whose channels are filled with different floating positions with local fruits, food, vegetables. This goes through the different channels or khlongs this popular floating market. All followed, we headed to the Temple of Bangkung, this rare temple is supported by a huge tree, also it’s the place where the Thai armies gathered to fight the Burmese. Then we transfer to the hotel. Lunch at the hotel and in the afternoon you are free to enjoy the tranquility of the hotel, walk, get a massage or others. In the afternoon, take a cruise by speedboat through the channels that pass through the local villages and several plantations up to the Amphawa Floating Market, perhaps less known than the Damnoen Saduak floating market but it doesn’t mean it’s less impressive, open only at night time. Coming back, we’ll watch fireflies live along the channels, an impressive ride that surely will leave in awe. Return to hotel and overnight. (Breakfast included).
